Meet Your Licensed Massage Therapist

My name is Whitney, I'm the owner of Moonwise Bodywork and I've dedicated my entire massage career to helping people like you find relief from stubborn pain.

I specialize in medical massage, cupping therapy, scar tissue release, and post-operative lymphatic drainage.

Many of my clients come to see me as a last resort because I'm usually the last person who needs to get their hands on them to see results.

My Mission

At Moonwise Bodywork, my mission is to create a safe and inclusive space for people seeking relief from chronic pain, restrictive scar tissue, and post-operative recovery through specialized bodywork.

I empower my clients to take an active role in their healing process, often through active therapy and personalized movement therapies designed to enhance recovery.

Whether you're experiencing chronic discomfort, post-op pain, or simply need a safe space to be yourself, I'm here to support you on your journey to living your best, pain-free life—whatever that may look like for you.

Explore How I Can Help You

  • Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy is an advanced and specialized form of cupping that enhances traditional techniques. It combines both moving and stationary cups along with focused muscle engagement and gentle stretching to significantly improve the function and health of muscle tissue.

This modality requires a certain level of undress to allow the cups to reach the skin effectively and directly for optimal results.

  • Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a specialized technique designed to stimulate and optimize the function of the lymphatic system - perfect for those recovering from a recent injury or surgery.

MLD involves gentle, rhythmic movements, intending to promote the flow of lymphatic fluid, reduce swelling (edema), and enhance overall well-being.

This modality requires the client to undress to allow access to certain areas for treatment. Don't worry, you'll be safe and comfy under the covers!

  • Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Scar Release Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses gentle microcurrent technology to soften and repolarize scar tissue, helping it integrate seamlessly with the surrounding skin and tissues.

This therapy not only enhances the appearance of scars, making them less noticeable, but also alleviates associated pain and improves mobility in the affected area (and sometimes far away from the area, too!).

By supporting the body’s natural healing processes, MPS Scar Release Therapy offers a holistic approach to scar management, providing long-term relief and improving the quality of life for individuals with bothersome scars.

While this treatment can be done clothed, the scar must be exposed for effective treatment.

  • Neural Reset Therapy (NRT) is an advanced neuromuscular technique designed to alleviate pain and discomfort by resetting muscles to a healthier resting tone.

By re-educating the neuromuscular system, NRT helps break dysfunctional pain patterns, offering a non-invasive approach to achieving long lasting relief and improved muscle function.

This is an active therapy, meaning active participation from the client is required to achieve results. NRT can be performed completely clothed or in combination with other techniques.

  • Reiki is an ancient healing method that manipulates energy flow in the body, promoting emotional healing, relaxation, feelings of love and well-being, and reducing feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress.

Reiki is administered by a gentle laying of the hands on or hovering just above non-invasive parts of the body.

This technique can be done completely clothed as a stand-alone treatment or in combination with other techniques.
